Here in Blount County, there was a marine that tragically lost his life after arriving home from Iraq. He had PTSD and experienced a flashback that lead to a very unfortunate and tragic event where he and someone else was killed.
These men and women are heroes and they should be treated as such. They fight for us, so that we will be able to sleep peacefully at night. They should be honored and treated with the respect that they deserve. But our government is so quick to kick them to the curb when they come back from overseas. This is complete BS and not to mention, ungrateful and disrespectful.
Many of these brave men and women suffer from PTSD. The things that they have witnessed while serving overseas, is unthinkable; unimaginable. The nightmares and horrors they have witnessed, I can’t even fathom. But does the government offer any help to them? No. This needs to change!
Please read this article about this brave marine, and about PTSD. Please read and repost this as well!

Mr. George Jones has passed away at age 81. George was one of the greatest country musicians that we ever had; he was a true talent and he will be very missed. Rest in peace, Mr. Jones!
